Door gasket leaks allowing humid air in, Drain blocked causing standing water, Ambient humidity very high, Humidity reservoir overfilled
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before clearing drains or performing deep cleaning.
- Step 1 – Inspect door gasket: Replace any damaged or flattened sections to reduce humid air ingress.
- Step 2 – Clear condensate drain: Ensure the drain hole and tube are clear so water can exit to the rear pan.
- Step 3 – Adjust humidity reservoir: If your model has a water tray, ensure it is not overfilled. Follow EuroCave's recommended fill level.
- Step 4 – Improve room conditions: Use a dehumidifier in very humid rooms to reduce moisture load on the cabinet.
