Possible Causes
Blown internal fuse on control board, Faulty power supply section of main board, Loose mains connection at terminal block, Damaged power cord
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before removing any panels. Mains voltage is present inside; only qualified persons should test live circuits.
- Step 1 – Verify outlet: Test the wall outlet with another appliance to confirm power is present.
- Step 2 – Inspect power cord: Check for cuts, kinks, or burn marks. Replace the cord if damaged.
- Step 3 – Access main control board: Remove the rear or top panel (depending on model) to locate the main PCB.
- Step 4 – Check internal fuse: Look for a small glass or ceramic fuse on the board. If blown, replace only with the same rating. If it blows again immediately, there is a deeper fault.
- Step 5 – Inspect connectors: Ensure the mains input connector and all low-voltage connectors are firmly seated.
- Step 6 – Replace main board: If the fuse is good but there is still no display or response, the main control board power supply may have failed and will need replacement.
