Possible Causes
Door left open, Recent large wine load added, Power outage causing temperature drift, Failing cooling system components
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: No internal work is required initially; unplug only if you proceed to component checks.
AL is a general alarm indicating that the internal temperature is outside the acceptable range.
- Step 1 – Confirm door closure: Ensure the door is fully closed and the gasket is sealing properly.
- Step 2 – Check recent usage: If you recently loaded many warm bottles, the alarm may sound until the cabinet recovers. Allow 12–24 hours.
- Step 3 – Verify setpoint: Confirm the set temperature is appropriate and has not been changed accidentally.
- Step 4 – Inspect environment: Ensure the room temperature is within the EuroCave-specified ambient range.
- Step 5 – If alarm persists: Follow the specific high- or low-temperature troubleshooting steps (H1 or L1) to identify underlying cooling issues.
