Possible Causes
Blocked condenser or poor ventilation, Failed condenser fan, Refrigerant leak or low charge, Weak compressor or start device failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before cleaning coils or accessing the rear compartment.
H1 indicates the cabinet is too warm and cannot reach the set temperature.
- Step 1 – Check door seal and usage: Ensure the door closes fully and the gasket is intact. Avoid frequent or prolonged door openings.
- Step 2 – Verify installation: Confirm adequate clearance around the cabinet and that it is not installed in a very hot room (above the specified ambient range).
- Step 3 – Clean condenser coil: Remove the rear lower panel and gently vacuum or brush dust from the condenser. A clogged condenser severely reduces cooling.
- Step 4 – Check condenser fan: With power restored, verify that the rear fan runs when the compressor is on. If not, see the condenser fan fault procedure.
- Step 5 – Monitor cooling: After cleaning and ensuring ventilation, allow 12–24 hours for temperatures to stabilize. Use an independent thermometer to verify.
- Step 6 – Suspect sealed system issues: If the compressor runs continuously, the condenser is clean, and temperatures remain high, there may be a refrigerant leak or weak compressor. This requires a certified refrigeration technician.
