Safety first: Unplug the unit before removing internal panels or accessing fans.

Step 1 – Verify with independent thermometer: Place a calibrated thermometer in the middle of the cabinet and log temperatures over 24 hours to confirm fluctuations.
Step 2 – Check door seal: Inspect the gasket for gaps and perform the paper test around the door perimeter. Replace the gasket if it does not seal tightly.
Step 3 – Inspect internal fan: Ensure the evaporator fan runs when the compressor is on and that airflow is not blocked by tightly packed bottles.
Step 4 – Evaluate sensor placement: Confirm that the temperature sensor is not touching the evaporator coil or directly in the airflow, which can cause rapid swings. Reposition only if it has clearly moved from its original location.
Step 5 – Replace suspect sensor: If the sensor is old or readings are erratic, replace the cabinet NTC sensor with a EuroCave-compatible part.

Interior temperature fluctuates widely; bottles experience swings of several degrees despite stable setpoint.
