Possible Causes
Shorted LED light module, Failed light driver on main PCB, Damaged wiring to interior light, Incorrect replacement LED strip
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the wine cooler before working on lighting circuits.
Steps:
- Check light behavior: Note whether the interior light is always on, never on, or flickering.
- Inspect LED module: Remove the interior light cover (usually clipped in). Look for burn marks or discoloration on the LED strip or module.
- Test voltage: With the unit briefly powered and door open, measure voltage at the light connector (refer to wiring diagram). Then unplug again. If voltage is present but light is off, the LED module is faulty.
- Replace LED module: Install a new Fagor-compatible LED light assembly. Ensure correct polarity if applicable.
- Check wiring: Inspect the harness from the main PCB to the light for pinched or cut wires.
- Main board: If the light module and wiring are good but F2 persists, the light driver circuit on the main PCB may be defective and require board replacement.
