Low Temperature / Ambient Too Low Fault
Wine cooler displays L1 and may shut down cooling; sometimes occurs in very cold rooms.

Possible Causes
Ambient temperature below design range, Faulty ambient sensor reading too low, Control board firmware reacting to low ambient, Incorrect installation in unheated area (garage, basement)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: No internal work is needed for basic checks; unplug before any disassembly.
Steps:
- Check installation location: Confirm the wine cooler is installed in a room within the specified ambient range (typically 10–32°C). Move the unit if necessary.
- Allow temperature to rise: If the room is very cold, L1 may clear automatically once ambient temperature increases.
- Test ambient sensor: If L1 appears even in a normal room, test the ambient NTC sensor as described for E3. Replace if it reads excessively high resistance (indicating very low temperature) at normal room temperature.
- Control board: If the sensor is correct and L1 persists, the main control board may be faulty and require replacement.
