Possible Causes
Failed LED driver on PCB, shorted LED strip, loose lighting harness, overcurrent protection triggered
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before working on lighting circuits.
Steps to address E7:
- Check for obvious damage: Inspect LED strips or light modules inside the cabinet for burn marks or discoloration.
- Test door switch: Ensure the door switch is functioning, as it often controls the lights. Replace if faulty.
- Inspect wiring: Follow the lighting harness from the LEDs to the main PCB. Look for pinched wires or loose connectors. Reseat all plugs.
- Isolate faulty strip: If multiple LED strips are present, disconnect them one at a time (with power off) and test to identify a shorted strip that causes E7 when connected.
- Replace components: Replace any shorted LED strip or the LED driver section/main PCB if it is not supplying correct voltage.
