• Inspect for ice or obstruction: Look for ice buildup or foreign objects blocking the damper flap. Defrost and clear obstructions.
• Check damper motor: With power off, inspect the motor and gears for damage. Verify wiring is intact and connectors are secure.
• Functional test (advanced): With the unit powered and panels temporarily off, change zone setpoints and listen/feel for damper movement. If no movement and voltage is present at the motor, replace the damper motor assembly.
• Control board check: If the motor is good but never receives a control signal, the main PCB may be faulty.
