Verify fan operation: Ensure the evaporator fan cycles normally and does not stop intermittently due to a loose connection.
Inspect and test thermistor: Confirm the cabinet sensor is correctly located and test its resistance. Replace if intermittent or out of spec.
Control board replacement: If sensors and fans are good but temperature swings remain extreme, the main control board may require replacement.
