How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before removing the control panel.
Steps:
- Dry the panel: If condensation or spills occurred, wipe the control area with a dry cloth and allow it to air dry for several hours with the unit unplugged.
- Power reset: After drying, plug the unit back in and see if the error clears.
- Check for stuck buttons: Press each button individually to feel for normal travel. A stuck button can cause an error.
- Inspect UI board: Remove the control panel and inspect the user interface PCB for corrosion or burnt components.
- Replace UI board: If damage is visible or the error persists, install a new Frigidaire user interface/control panel assembly.
Note: If a new UI does not resolve the issue, the main control board may also need replacement.
