Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: No internal electrical work is required for basic checks, but unplug the unit if you remove panels.
Steps to address H1:
- Check door seal and closure: Ensure the door is fully closing and the gasket is not obstructed by bottles or shelves. Correct any misalignment.
- Allow recovery time: If the door was left open or the unit was recently loaded with many warm bottles, allow 12–24 hours for temperature to stabilize. Keep the door closed as much as possible.
- Verify compressor operation: Listen at the back for the compressor running (a low humming sound) and feel for slight warmth on the condenser coils.
- Check condenser fan (if equipped): Ensure the fan near the compressor is running and the rear grille is not blocked by dust or objects.
- Clean condenser: Unplug the unit and vacuum dust from the condenser coils and grille to improve airflow.
- Monitor temperature: Place an accurate thermometer inside. If temperature does not drop toward the setpoint within several hours, there may be a sealed-system issue.
Important: If the compressor is running continuously but the cabinet remains warm, a refrigerant leak or compressor failure is likely. This requires a certified refrigeration technician.
