Possible Causes
Failed display backlight LEDs, Loose display connector, Faulty low-voltage supply to interface, Damaged display PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before removing the control panel or display assembly.
Steps:
- 1. Check for faint display: Shine a flashlight at an angle; if you see numbers faintly, the backlight has failed.
- 2. Remove control panel: Carefully remove the panel to access the display board and connectors.
- 3. Reseat connectors: Unplug and replug the display harness to ensure a solid connection.
- 4. Test voltage: If equipped and you are trained, measure low-voltage supply to the display. If absent, the main control board may be faulty.
- 5. Replace display board: If backlight LEDs are failed or the board is damaged, replace with the correct Gaggenau display module.
Note: Cooling may continue without a display, but you will not be able to monitor or adjust temperatures accurately.
