Possible Causes
Door gasket not sealing, Door opened frequently in humid environment, Humidity control set too high (if equipped), Blocked air circulation
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Wipe up moisture promptly to prevent slipping and mold growth. Disconnect power before gasket replacement.
Steps:
- 1. Check door gasket seal: Inspect for gaps or damage. Perform the paper test around the door perimeter; replace gasket if it fails.
- 2. Reduce door openings: Limit how often and how long the door is open, especially in humid weather.
- 3. Adjust humidity setting: On models with humidity control, lower the humidity setting slightly.
- 4. Improve air circulation: Avoid blocking vents with bottles. Space bottles to allow airflow.
- 5. Use a dehumidifier in the room: In very humid climates, reducing room humidity will help the cooler control internal condensation.
Note: Some condensation on the glass door is normal in humid conditions, but heavy dripping indicates a sealing or humidity issue.
