Possible Causes

Door left open or not sealing, recent warm loading of bottles, failed compressor, condenser fan not running, refrigerant leak or sealed system failure

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: No internal electrical work is required for basic checks; unplug only if removing panels.

  • Check door: Ensure the door is fully closing and the gasket is intact and clean. Remove any bottles blocking closure.
  • Allow recovery: If you recently loaded many warm bottles, allow 12–24 hours for the temperature to stabilize. Keep the door closed as much as possible.
  • Ventilation and fan: Verify that the unit has proper clearance and that the condenser fan (if equipped) runs when the compressor is on. Clean dust from the condenser coils.
  • Compressor operation: Listen for the compressor running. If it is not running at all, or runs but the cabinet never cools, there may be a sealed system issue or failed compressor.
  • When to call a technician: If H1 persists after cleaning, ensuring door seal, and allowing recovery time, contact a professional for sealed system diagnosis.
