Possible Causes
Burned-out LED module or bulb, failed door switch, loose light wiring connector, defective control board light output
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before replacing bulbs or accessing wiring.
- Check door switch: Press the door switch by hand and see if the light flickers or comes on. If not, test the switch for continuity and replace if faulty.
- Replace light module: On many GE wine coolers, the interior light is an LED module. Remove the light cover and replace the module if it shows signs of damage or does not light when powered.
- Inspect wiring: Ensure the light harness is securely connected to the control board or power source.
- Control board: If the switch and light module are good but no power is supplied, the control board may be defective and require replacement.
