Possible Causes
Shorted or open cabinet NTC sensor, Sensor disconnected from PCB, Frozen sensor encased in ice, ADC failure on main PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the wine cooler before accessing sensors.
- Verify actual temperature: Use a separate thermometer to confirm that the interior temperature is changing.
- Inspect sensor location: Ensure the cabinet NTC sensor is not buried in ice or displaced from its proper position.
- Test sensor: Measure resistance at different temperatures. Replace the Grundig cabinet NTC sensor if readings are abnormal or do not change.
- Replace main PCB: If a new sensor does not resolve the issue, the analog-to-digital converter on the main PCB may be faulty and the board should be replaced.
