Possible Causes
Wine cooler not level, Loose compressor mounting or tubing touching cabinet, Noisy evaporator or condenser fan, Loose shelf or bottle rattling
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before adjusting internal components. Use caution when working near the compressor and metal edges.
- Level the appliance: Use a spirit level and adjust the front leveling feet so the Grundig wine cooler is stable and does not rock.
- Check for cabinet contact: At the rear, ensure copper tubing and the condenser coil are not touching the cabinet walls. Gently bend them away if necessary.
- Inspect fans: Listen to identify if the noise comes from the internal or rear fan. Tighten mounting screws and replace the Grundig fan motor if bearings are noisy.
- Secure shelves and bottles: Make sure shelves are fully seated and bottles are not touching the cabinet walls or each other in a way that causes rattling.
