Display shows E6 and the wine cooler does not respond properly to temperature settings or may not cool.

Safety: Disconnect power before removing any control panels or boards.

Steps to address E6:

• Power reset: Unplug the unit for 10 minutes, then plug it back in. If E6 returns, continue.
• Access the control panel: Remove screws securing the top/front trim and gently pull the display panel forward to expose the wiring.
• Inspect the harness: Locate the multi-wire harness connecting the display PCB to the main control PCB. Look for pinched, cut, or abraded wires, especially where they pass through the cabinet.
• Check connectors: Unplug and re-seat the connectors at both the display PCB and main control PCB. Inspect for bent pins, corrosion, or signs of overheating.
• Test continuity: If you have a multimeter, check continuity of each wire in the harness from end to end. Replace the harness if any conductor is open.
• Replace suspect board: If wiring is intact, the fault is likely in either the display PCB or main control PCB. Start with the display PCB (often easier and cheaper) using a Haier-compatible replacement.
• Reassemble and test: After replacing components, reassemble panels, restore power, and verify that E6 is cleared and that controls respond normally.
