Display shows EE or flashes all segments; controls may be unresponsive and cooling may stop.

Steps to address EE:

• Power reset: Disconnect power for at least 15 minutes to allow capacitors to discharge. Plug back in and check if the EE code clears.
• Check supply voltage: Ensure the outlet provides stable voltage within the range specified in the Haier manual. Avoid using undersized extension cords or power strips.
• Inspect wiring between boards: Remove the control panel and rear access panel. Verify that all harnesses between the display PCB and main control PCB are firmly seated and undamaged.
• Look for board damage: Examine both boards for burn marks, swollen components, or corrosion from moisture.
• Replace suspect board: If wiring is intact and EE persists, replace the main control PCB with a Haier-compatible part. If the issue remains, the display PCB may also need replacement.
• Reassemble and test: After replacing components, reassemble the unit, restore power, and verify normal display and cooling operation.
