Assess motor bearings: If the fan feels rough, wobbly, or squeals when spun, the motor bearings are worn.
Replace the fan motor: Install a Haier-compatible evaporator fan motor and transfer the blade if necessary. Ensure the blade is seated correctly and clears the shroud.
Reassemble and test: Reinstall the interior panel, restore power, and verify quiet operation.
