How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before tightening or adjusting any parts.
Steps to eliminate rattling:
- Check interior components: Remove and reseat shelves. Ensure shelf rails are fully engaged and not vibrating against the liner.
- Tighten panels: Inspect the rear access panel and any bottom or side panels. Tighten all screws securely.
- Secure fan shroud: At the rear, verify that the condenser fan shroud is firmly attached and not loose.
- Isolate tubing: Identify any refrigerant lines that may be contacting the cabinet. Gently reposition and add foam padding where needed.
- Test operation: Plug the unit back in and listen during compressor start/stop to confirm the rattle is gone.
