Possible Causes
Failed zone divider fan or damper, Missing or misinstalled partition, Control board not driving separate circuits, Temperature sensors swapped or miswired
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Unplug the unit before internal inspection.
- Check physical divider: Ensure the insulating partition between zones is installed correctly and not damaged.
- Inspect zone fans/dampers: Some Hisense dual-zone models use separate fans or dampers. Verify that each zone's fan runs when that zone calls for cooling.
- Sensor wiring: Confirm that the upper and lower zone sensors are connected to the correct PCB terminals and have not been swapped during prior repairs.
If hardware is intact but zones still track identically, the main control PCB may not be managing zones independently and may require replacement.
