Possible Causes

Shorted LED light module, Damaged door switch, Faulty wiring harness to accessories, Failed accessory driver on main PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Unplug the cooler before working on lights or switches. E9 often points to a problem in the accessory circuits such as interior lighting.

  • Check the interior light: If the LED light stays on constantly, flickers, or never turns on, remove the light cover and inspect the LED module for burn marks.
  • Test the door switch: Locate the door switch plunger or magnetic reed switch. Press it manually and listen for a click. If the light does not respond, the switch may be faulty.
  • Inspect wiring: Follow the harness from the light and switch back to the main PCB. Look for pinched or cut wires, especially near the door hinge area.
  • Replace defective parts: Install a new Hisense-compatible LED light module or door switch if they test bad. Ensure correct polarity for LED modules if applicable.
  • Reset and test: After replacing parts, restore power and check if E9 clears and all accessories function normally.

If the accessories test good but E9 remains, the main control PCB accessory driver may be defective and require replacement.
