Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Unplug the wine cooler for at least 5 minutes. This allows the control electronics to fully reset.
- Power cycle: After 5–10 minutes, plug the unit back in and observe the display. If Er clears, monitor operation.
- Check panel connections: Remove the control panel and rear PCB cover to inspect and reseat all connectors between the display and main board.
- Surge protection: If the error followed a storm or outage, consider using a surge protector after repairs.
If Er returns frequently, the main control PCB or display PCB may need replacement. Firmware updates, if available, must be performed by an authorized Hisense service center.
