Possible Causes
Failed upper zone NTC sensor, Loose sensor connector at PCB, Damaged sensor harness in cabinet wall, Main PCB sensor channel failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Unplug the cooler before service. F1 is commonly used for an upper-zone sensor error in dual-zone models.
- Locate the upper zone sensor: It is usually mounted on the rear liner of the upper compartment or behind the upper evaporator cover.
- Inspect and test: Remove the cover, check that the sensor is intact and firmly attached. Measure its resistance and compare to the lower zone sensor at the same temperature.
- Repair harness: If the wire is pinched or cut where it passes through the liner, repair with appropriate connectors and insulation, or replace the harness.
- Replace sensor: Install a new Hisense upper-zone NTC sensor if readings are out of range.
If F1 persists with a known-good sensor, the main control PCB may require replacement.
