Possible Causes

Failed lower zone NTC sensor, Loose or corroded connector, Damaged harness in lower cabinet, Faulty main control PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Disconnect power before working inside the cabinet. F2 typically refers to a lower-zone sensor error.

  • Locate the lower zone sensor: It is usually on the rear liner of the lower compartment or attached to the lower evaporator cover.
  • Inspect sensor and wiring: Remove the cover, check for physical damage, and ensure the sensor is properly clipped in place.
  • Measure resistance: Compare the lower sensor resistance to the upper sensor at the same temperature. A large discrepancy indicates a faulty sensor.
  • Replace sensor: Install a new Hisense lower-zone NTC sensor and route the harness along the original path.

If F2 remains after sensor replacement, the main control PCB may be at fault and should be checked by a technician.
