Possible Causes
Defective zone evaporator NTC, Sensor detached from coil, Harness damage near evaporator, PCB sensor input failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Unplug the unit before removing panels. F3 often indicates a problem with a zone-specific evaporator sensor.
- Identify affected zone: Check which zone temperature is unstable or not responding to setpoint changes.
- Access evaporator for that zone: Remove shelves and the inner rear panel for the affected zone.
- Check sensor placement: Ensure the sensor is firmly attached to the evaporator tubing and not hanging loose.
- Test and replace: Measure resistance and compare to other sensors. Replace with a Hisense-compatible evaporator NTC if faulty.
Persistent F3 after sensor replacement suggests a main PCB issue that should be handled by a professional.
