Possible Causes

Door left open or not sealing, Recent power outage or warm loading, Failed compressor or Peltier module, Refrigerant leak in sealed system

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

H1 is usually an alarm, not a sensor failure. It indicates that the internal temperature is above the safe range for wine storage.

  • Check the door: Ensure the door is fully closed and the gasket is sealing all around. Look for obstructions such as shelves or bottles preventing closure.
  • Verify ambient conditions: Hisense wine coolers are designed for indoor use. If the room is very hot (>32°C), cooling performance will be reduced. Improve ventilation or move the unit to a cooler location.
  • Allow recovery time: If you recently loaded many warm bottles or had a power outage, allow 12–24 hours for the temperature to stabilize.
  • Check for cooling activity: Listen for the compressor or Peltier module and the interior fan. If they are not running at all, further diagnosis of the cooling system is needed.
  • Monitor temperature: Use an independent thermometer inside the cabinet to verify the actual temperature. If it remains high despite continuous running, there may be a sealed-system issue.

If the unit runs constantly but cannot cool, contact a refrigeration technician to check for refrigerant leaks or compressor failure.
