Possible Causes

Set temperature too low, Faulty temperature sensor reading low, Stuck relay on main PCB keeping compressor on, Control board logic fault

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

L1 is a low-temperature alarm. It warns that the internal temperature is below the normal wine storage range.

  • Check setpoint: Verify the set temperature on the display. Adjust it to a typical wine storage range (e.g., 10–14°C) and wait several hours.
  • Observe compressor cycling: The compressor should turn off periodically. If it runs continuously even after reaching the setpoint, the control board or sensor may be faulty.
  • Inspect sensors: Follow the steps for E0/E1 to ensure the cabinet and evaporator sensors are properly attached and reading correctly.
  • Power reset: Unplug the unit for 5 minutes, then plug it back in to clear any temporary control glitches.

If the unit continues to overcool and L1 persists, the main control PCB or sensor circuit may require replacement by a technician.
