Possible Causes
Loose condenser coil, Refrigerant lines hitting each other, Loose compressor bracket, Objects vibrating against the cabinet
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Unplug the cooler before adjustments.
- Inspect rear components: Check that the condenser coil is firmly attached to its brackets and that brackets are tight.
- Separate tubing: Where copper or aluminum lines touch, insert small pieces of foam or rubber to prevent metal-on-metal contact.
- Secure compressor: Tighten compressor mounting bolts if they are loose, but do not overtighten to the point of crushing the grommets.
- Check surroundings: Ensure the cooler is not touching cabinets or walls that can amplify vibration.
Persistent loud mechanical noises may indicate internal compressor damage and require professional diagnosis.
