Hisense Noisy Compressor or Vibrating Components

Wine cooler cools but makes a loud humming or buzzing noise from the rear.

Possible Causes

Compressor mounting grommets hardened or missing, Refrigerant lines touching cabinet, Loose condenser fan shroud, Vibrating rear panel

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Unplug the unit before touching rear components.

  • Check compressor mounts: Inspect the rubber grommets under the compressor. Replace any that are cracked or missing to reduce vibration.
  • Secure tubing: Gently bend refrigerant lines away from cabinet walls and each other so they do not touch and rattle. Do not kink the tubing.
  • Inspect fan and shroud: Tighten any loose screws on the condenser fan bracket and rear panel. Ensure the fan blade is not rubbing against the shroud.
  • Add damping: Use foam pads or vibration-damping tape between metal panels that buzz.

If the compressor itself is internally noisy (knocking or grinding), it may be failing and should be evaluated by a refrigeration technician.
