Possible Causes

Failed compressor or Peltier module, Loss of refrigerant charge, Blocked condenser coils, Faulty main control PCB not energizing cooling circuit

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Unplug the unit before rear inspection.

  • Check if compressor or Peltier is running: With the unit plugged in and calling for cooling, listen at the back. A compressor should hum and vibrate slightly; a Peltier module system will usually have a fan running and a faint buzz.
  • Inspect condenser and fan: Remove the rear lower panel. Clean dust from condenser coils and ensure the condenser fan (if present) spins freely and runs when cooling is demanded.
  • Feel temperature difference: Carefully touch the condenser tubing (should be warm) and the evaporator area (should be cool) after 10–15 minutes of operation. If both remain at room temperature, the sealed system or Peltier module may have failed.
  • Check control settings: Confirm the unit is not in demo mode and that the set temperature is below room temperature.

If the compressor or Peltier module does not start at all and power/control are confirmed, or if there is no temperature difference in the sealed system, contact a licensed refrigeration technician. Sealed-system and Peltier module replacement require specialized skills.
