• Locate door switch: Identify the mechanical or magnetic switch in the frame. For magnetic types, ensure the magnet in the door is present and aligned with the switch location.
• Test switch: With power on, press the mechanical switch or place a magnet over the reed switch area to see if the alarm stops. If not, replace the door switch.
• Check wiring: Inspect the switch harness for loose connections at the main board.
