Possible Causes
Loose wire harness or sensor touching fan, Shelves or bottle supports vibrating, Fan blade slightly unbalanced, Cabinet not level
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before removing internal panels or touching the fan.
Steps to reduce internal noise:
- Level the cabinet: Use a spirit level and adjust the front feet so the Hoover wine cooler is stable and does not rock.
- Rearrange bottles: Ensure bottles are not touching the rear wall or each other excessively. Use all shelf supports correctly.
- Check internal fan: Remove the internal rear panel and inspect the evaporator fan. Ensure no wires or sensor leads are touching the fan blades. Secure them with clips or cable ties.
- Inspect shelves and rails: Tighten any loose shelf rails or brackets. Add thin rubber pads where metal parts contact if necessary.
