Wine cooler does not cool at all; interior light works but the compressor or cooling module never starts.

Steps to diagnose no cooling:

• 1. Verify power: Confirm the outlet has power by plugging in another device. Check the cooler's power cord for damage.
• 2. Listen for operation: With the unit plugged in and turned on, listen for the compressor or any fans. If you hear only a click or nothing at all, proceed.
• 3. Inspect the control board: Remove the rear lower panel and locate the main control board. Look for burnt components, darkened areas, or a burnt smell.
• 4. Check compressor start components: Inspect the start relay/PTC and overload on the compressor for signs of overheating or cracking.
• 5. Test continuity (advanced): With the unit unplugged, test the overload and relay for continuity. Replace any open or rattling components.
• 6. Replace the main control board if no output: If start components are good but the board is not sending power to the compressor (requires live voltage testing by a qualified person), replace the Insignia main control board.
