Possible Causes
Failed upper zone thermistor, Loose or damaged sensor wiring, Faulty connector on dual-zone control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the dual-zone Ivation wine cooler before servicing.
Steps:
- Identify upper zone sensor: Remove shelves from the upper compartment and locate the sensor probe (often on the rear wall or behind a small cover).
- Access and inspect: Remove the interior panel if needed to expose the sensor and wiring. Check for damage or disconnection.
- Test sensor: Measure resistance at room temperature and compare to Ivation specs. Replace if open/shorted.
- Replace sensor: Install a new Ivation upper zone temperature sensor, route wiring properly, and reconnect to the control board.
Reassemble, restore power, and confirm F1 is cleared and the upper zone cools normally.
