Possible Causes
Defective zone evaporator sensor, Sensor dislodged from evaporator, Wiring harness damage, Control board sensor input failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before removing interior panels.
Steps:
- Determine affected zone: Check which zone is not cooling properly when F3 appears.
- Access evaporator for that zone: Remove shelves and the rear interior panel for the affected zone.
- Locate sensor: Find the small sensor clipped to the evaporator fins or tubing. Ensure it is firmly attached and wires are intact.
- Test sensor: Measure resistance and compare to Ivation specs. Replace if faulty with an Ivation zone evaporator sensor.
If F3 persists with a good sensor, the dual-zone control board may need replacement.
