Possible Causes
Thermostat or sensor reading below safe limit, Faulty cabinet thermistor, Control board miscalibration, Ambient room temperature too low for Ivation operating range
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before removing panels.
Steps:
- Check room temperature: Ensure the Ivation wine cooler is not installed in a very cold area (e.g., unheated garage in winter). Move it to a room within the recommended operating range (typically 50–80°F / 10–27°C).
- Allow temperature to stabilize: If the unit was recently moved or loaded with very cold bottles, allow several hours for temperatures to equalize.
- Inspect cabinet sensor: Follow the same procedure as for E1 to verify the cabinet thermistor is properly mounted and reading correctly.
- Reset the unit: After correcting environment or sensor issues, unplug for 10 minutes, then plug back in and check if LC clears.
Note: If LC persists in a normal room environment with a good sensor, the control board may be faulty and require replacement.
