Possible Causes
Insufficient clearance around unit, Blocked rear or side vents, Failed condenser fan, High ambient temperature
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the Ivation wine cooler before moving or cleaning it.
Steps:
- Improve airflow: Ensure at least 2–4 inches of clearance on all sides and the back. Do not enclose in a tight cabinet unless the model is rated for built-in use.
- Clean vents: Remove dust and lint from all ventilation grilles.
- Check condenser fan: Verify the rear fan runs when the compressor is on. Replace with a Ivation condenser fan motor if not operating.
- Check room temperature: Move the unit away from heat sources and ensure the room is within Ivation’s specified operating range.
