Possible Causes

Aging or drifting thermistor, Sensor not in correct position, Control board calibration error

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the unit before adjusting sensors.

Steps:

  • Verify with thermometer: Place an accurate thermometer inside and compare to the display after several hours of stable operation.
  • Check sensor placement: Ensure the cabinet sensor is located where Ivation designed it (usually mid-height on the rear wall) and not dangling or touching very cold surfaces.
  • Replace sensor: If readings are consistently off by more than a few degrees, replace the Ivation cabinet temperature sensor.
  • Control board: If a new sensor does not correct the discrepancy, the control board may be miscalibrated and require replacement.
