Control panel buttons do not respond or respond intermittently.

Safety: Unplug the unit before removing the control panel.

Steps:

• Dry the panel: Wipe any moisture from the control area and allow it to dry completely.
• Remove and inspect: Carefully remove the control panel and inspect the ribbon cable for damage. Reseat both ends.
• Check for corrosion: If the UI board shows corrosion or damage, replace the user interface assembly.
• Control board: If a new UI does not restore function, the main control board may be defective.
