Possible Causes

Failed evaporator fan in affected zone, Blocked air channel, Faulty zone thermistor, Zone damper stuck closed (if shared system)

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug before removing interior panels.

Steps:

  • Compare zones: Note which zone is warm and whether its fan runs.
  • Check fan operation: Access the warm zone's evaporator fan and test as described in E6.
  • Inspect air passages: Ensure vents and ducts between zones are not blocked by bottles or ice.
  • Test zone sensor: Measure the thermistor for the warm zone and replace if defective.
  • Damper (if equipped): Inspect and test the air damper controlling that zone (see F5).
