Clogged condensate drain tube, Disconnected drain hose to drip pan, Cracked drain pan, Excessive door condensation from gasket leak
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before accessing the drain system.
Steps:
- Locate drain: Inside the cabinet, find the small drain hole at the rear or bottom.
- Clear blockage: Use a soft pipe cleaner or flexible plastic line to gently clear debris from the drain hole and tube. Do not use sharp metal objects.
- Check rear drain hose: Remove the rear panel and verify the drain hose is securely connected from the cabinet to the drain pan above the compressor.
- Inspect drain pan: Look for cracks or overflow. Replace a damaged pan.
- Door gasket: If excessive moisture forms on the door, inspect and replace a leaking gasket to reduce condensation.
