Wine cooler is too cold; bottles are frosting or freezing even at higher set temperatures.

Safety: Unplug the unit before accessing sensors or the control board.

Steps:

• Verify with thermometer: Place an accurate thermometer inside and compare to the display. If the actual temperature is much lower, the control may be misreading.
• Check cabinet sensor: Access and test the cabinet temperature sensor (thermistor) as described for E1. Replace if resistance is out of spec.
• Inspect control board: If the sensor is good but the compressor rarely shuts off, the cooling relay on the main control board may be stuck. Replace the board if necessary.
• Short-term workaround: Until repaired, set the temperature higher than desired and monitor with a separate thermometer to avoid freezing wine.
