Safety: This fault usually does not require internal electrical work. Unplug only if accessing wiring.

• Check for obstructions: Ensure shelves, bottles, or racks are not preventing the door from closing fully.
• Inspect door alignment: Verify the door is level and square with the cabinet. Adjust hinges if the door is sagging.
• Clean gasket and frame: Wipe the door gasket and cabinet frame with warm soapy water to remove debris that may prevent sealing.
• Locate door switch: On many Kismile models, a magnetic reed switch is hidden in the cabinet frame, and a magnet is embedded in the door. If accessible, check the switch wiring for damage.
• Test switch (if accessible): Use a magnet to simulate door closure near the switch location. If the dE code does not clear, the door switch or control board input may be faulty.
• Replace faulty parts: Replace the door switch assembly or control board if testing confirms failure.
