How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the wine cooler before removing the control panel.
- Dry the panel: If the panel was exposed to moisture, wipe it dry and allow several hours for internal drying before further work.
- Inspect for stuck buttons: Gently press each button to ensure it moves freely and is not physically stuck.
- Remove control panel: Unscrew and carefully pull the panel forward. Inspect the ribbon cable and connectors for kinks, corrosion, or breaks.
- Reconnect and clean: Reseat the ribbon cable on both ends. Clean contacts with electronic contact cleaner if corroded.
- Replace keypad: If F1 persists and specific buttons do not respond, replace the Kismile touch control panel / keypad assembly.
