Possible Causes
Shorted LED light strip, Damaged light wiring harness, Failed light driver circuit on main control board, Incorrect LED replacement causing overcurrent
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before working on lighting or wiring.
- Inspect LED light strip: Locate the interior LED strip or light module. Look for burn marks, discoloration, or physical damage.
- Disconnect light: Unplug the LED strip from its connector and restore power briefly. If F2 clears with the light disconnected, the light assembly is likely shorted.
- Replace LED assembly: Install a compatible Kismile LED light strip or module. Do not substitute with non-rated LEDs.
- Check wiring: Inspect the light harness for pinched or cut wires, especially where it passes through cabinet walls.
- Control board: If F2 persists even with the light disconnected, the main control board light driver may be damaged and require replacement.
