Possible Causes
Door left open or not sealing, Recent large warm load added, Failed compressor or low refrigerant charge, Non-functioning condenser fan motor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: No internal electrical work is required for basic checks; unplug only if removing panels.
- Check door closure: Ensure the Kismile wine cooler door is fully closed and the gasket is not obstructed by shelves or bottles.
- Inspect door gasket: Look for tears, gaps, or warped areas. Close a sheet of paper in the door; if it pulls out easily, the seal is weak in that area.
- Allow recovery time: If you recently loaded many warm bottles, allow 12–24 hours for the temperature to stabilize. Avoid frequent door openings.
- Verify cooling system: Listen for the compressor and internal fan running. Feel for warm air at the rear condenser area. If both are off while H1 is displayed, there may be a control or compressor fault.
- Clean condenser and check fan: Pull the unit out and clean the condenser coil. Confirm the condenser fan motor spins freely and runs when the compressor is on. Replace the fan if seized or not running.
- Service if no cooling: If the compressor runs but there is no cooling and H1 persists, the sealed system may be undercharged or blocked. Contact a professional technician.
