Possible Causes
Normal heat dissipation through cabinet walls, Poor ventilation around unit, Dirty condenser coil, Overworked compressor due to high ambient temperature
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Surfaces may be warm but should not be dangerously hot. Unplug before cleaning coils.
- Check installation clearance: Ensure at least 2–4 inches of space around the sides and back of the Kismile wine cooler.
- Clean condenser: Vacuum dust from the condenser coil and fan area.
- Ambient temperature: Verify the room temperature is within the specified operating range for the unit (often 41–100°F / 5–38°C). Move the unit if necessary.
- Monitor: Some warmth is normal, but if surfaces are too hot to touch comfortably, have a technician inspect the cooling system.
